To wear a crossbody bag, you put the strap over one shoulder so the bag goes across the body. After that, most people don’t really follow rules - they just move the strap until it feels comfortable. Some like the bag in front, some wear it more to the side.

It often depends on what you’re doing. In crowds or while traveling, people usually keep the bag closer to the front. When walking or running errands, it naturally shifts toward the hip. You adjust it once, maybe twice, and then forget about it.

A crossbody bag normally sits around hip level. Lower than that, it can swing or get in the way. Higher than that, it may feel tight or awkward, especially after a few hours.


When the position is right, the bag doesn’t
